The graphics in this series embody the idea of "wines born from organic cultivation in Japan, an environment that is challenging for grapes due to its warm and humid climate." The beetle depicted is a Japanese beetle (Popillia japonica), which is considered an invasive pest of Japanese origin in other countries. Pests are more likely to thrive in warmer regions than in cooler climates. While the damage caused by Japanese beetles to grape cultivation in Japan is severe, Kinosaki Winery, which uses pesticide-free cultivation methods, manually removes them to manage the problem.
